Kuttikanam Junction is enroute to Thekkady and Periyar Tiger Reserve. The nearest airport is 150 kms by road at Nedumbassery, Kochi and the nearest railway station is 70 kms away at Kottayam. Stagbrook Estate belongs to The Nilgiri Tea Estates Limited and Ashley Estate belongs to The Udayagiri Rubber Company Limited.
